12th Night, by William Shakespeare
Set in the roaring 1920s, the Raven Players production features a hysterical love triangle only Shakespeare could concoct! Orsino loves Olivia (who couldn’t care less). Olivia loves Viola (who is disguised as a boy), while Viola loves Orsino (who doesn’t know she’s a girl). Malvolio is also after Olivia, while a merry trio of prohibitionist imbibers – Sir Andrew, Toby Belch, and Maria – conspire to keep everyone off kilter. In the end, after much misdirection and even more laughter, the characters do find love. Sort of.
