The City of Healdsburg has been actively engaging our community during the coronavirus pandemic as we safely move toward a more business-friendly phase and continually enhance the Marketspace program. Healdsburg community members and business owners, including retail, restaurant, tasting rooms, art galleries, hotels, and more have been providing valuable input on the concept of opening sidewalks, streets, alleyways, parking stalls, parks and other public places to enhance social distancing for the benefit local business. Here you will find updated resources on the Marketspace program's outreach efforts that relate to opening public space in Healdsburg to help local business thrive during the COVID-19 emergency health orders and any related impacts thereafter.
What is next?
Staff is incorporating feedback collected to date along with the community input we've received from our virtual discussions on 3/29/21 and 3/30/21 into the recommended program framework that will be presented to City Council at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. Community members are encouraged to attend and provide public comment at that meeting.
